Advancing Girls’ Education and Skills

wherewework_pakistan_2

World Learning implemented the USAID Advancing Girls’ Education and Skills (AGES) project to improve opportunities for learning and economic empowerment among adolescent girls and young women in Pakistan by building an ecosystem that supports them to thrive at home, school, and work. AGES addressed a key barrier to beneficiaries by supporting their mastery of 10 core life skills particularly relevant to the Pakistani and program context.

STS partnered with World Learning and the AGES project to develop a life skills assessment tool. Specifically, STS researched, aggregated, and contextualized items from existing tools that have been used to measure the 10 core life skills. STS also developed new items from AGES curriculum.
