ADRA Norway is implementing the SEAQE Sahel programme in Mali and Niger with financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). The programme works to increase education opportunities for all children by motivating teachers, improving learning and life skills outcomes for children, engaging civil society, and strengthening local government capacity and support for education.
In 2019, STS conducted a qualitative mid-term review of SEAQE Sahel to assess the progress and achievements of the programme to date, with a focus on key research questions of interest to both the programme and Norad. The mid-term review findings informed future programming, strategies, and approaches and may also be used to update the programme’s theory of change.
