Annual Assessment Report for Opportunity Schools

wherewework_werkkenya

The Opportunity Schools Programme is organized and implemented by the Women Educational Researcher of Kenya (WERK). The vision of this program is that all children under the ages of 17 living in Northern Kenya and other arid lands access their constitutional right to quality education. Specifically, the program aimed to improve literacy and math learning outcomes for early-childhood-care-and-education learners and for primary school children in grades 1–4 who are living in rural communities in Kajiado County.

Through the program, STS reviewed datasets and analyzed results from endline assessments, including measures related to the fidelity of implementation as well as the EGRA and EGMA. Additionally, STS provided technical assistance on the program’s final report so that it offered an optimal opportunity for program managers to explore accomplishments, lessons learned, and recommendations for future programming.
