Mark Hoffman has over thirty years of hands-on experience in financial management and administration for domestic and international awards funded by the US Government. He has held a number of positions, all related to his passion for organizational excellence through strategic planning, accounting integrity, Federal procurement compliance, transparency, and dedication. Hoffman has extensive background as a Controller, Contracts Administrator, CFO, Management Consultant (international big four CPA firm), Project Manager, and NonFederal Auditor for USAID. Hoffman was based in Nairobi for four years where he was dedicated to various development projects funded by USAID.
Hoffman is active as an independent consultant, providing advice, including expert witness testimony, in Federal procurement regulations, cost accounting, contract administration, proposal strategies, and financial management.
Hoffman is a frequent continuing education instructor, volunteering his time to teach courses for the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), state CPA organizations, local business chambers, and other groups.
