Fiona Eichinger is a technical manager with international experience in project management, education, curriculum development, monitoring, and evaluation since 2016. In her current position and previous role as STS program coordinator, Eichinger has gathered experience in Malawi, Morocco, Togo, the Philippines, and Nepal.
Prior to joining STS, Eichinger worked with migrant, refugee, and protection-seeking populations in Malta, Spain, Germany, France, and the U.S. As a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Malta, she developed community-based initiatives to foster inclusion and learning on the island of Gozo and in open centers for asylum-seekers on the island of Malta.
Eichinger holds a master’s degree in international relations specializing in development and humanitarian assistance from Syracuse University with an exchange semester at Sciences Po in Paris, France. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh with an exchange semester at the Public Health Care Institute in Iringa, Tanzania. Eichinger is fluent in German, professionally proficient in Spanish, and studying Arabic.
