Farouq Bani Hamad works as the Learning Assessment Manager on the USAID Early Grade Education Activity (ASAS) in Jordan.
Bani Hamad has 36 years of experience in the educational sector, including 13 years in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). He spent seven years as a senior MEL manager with RTI International for the USAID-funded Early Grade Reading and Mathematics Initiative (RAMP) in Jordan. For six years, he served as head of a monitoring and evaluation unit in the Jordanian Ministry of Education (MoE). Outside of monitoring and evaluation, Bani Hamad worked as head of several units in Jordanian MoE, such as a head of planning, school sap, and EMIS units. Bani Hamad has also worked as a physics and mathematics teacher inside and outside Jordan.
Bani Hamad holds a Ph.D. in science curricula and teaching methods. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in physics.
