Christine Hoek brings more than 40 years of experience in collegiate, museum, and nonprofit management and fundraising. She served as the chief development officer at Skidmore College (NY), the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (VA), the Clark Art Institute (MA), and EARTH University (Costa Rica) where she oversaw campaigns ranging from $25 million to $500 million. Hoek taught at national and international advancement conferences over a period of many years. Having established a reputation as an effective critical thinker, an adept problem solver, and an individual with both strategic and tactical skills, she established chrysalis unlimited, a boutique consulting firm for the nonprofit sector and continues to accept occasional consulting opportunities.
Hoek ’s volunteer service includes former positions on the boards of IES (international study abroad), Saratoga Arts, and The Children’s Museum in Saratoga Springs. Hoek has a BA in English Literature and an MS in Counseling. She resides in Saratoga Springs, NY.
