Bwalya Katuta is the finance and administration assistant for the USAID Transforming Teacher Education activity in Zambia. She provides general finance and administrative support to the team.
Katuta previously worked as events organizing personnel for the Change Group London. She also served as a guest experience representative at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. Katuta worked as a teen connector under the USAID DREAMS project. Katuta has served in the research assistant and data collector’s capacity to facilitate policy change in the Zambian education sector. Katuta volunteers at local community schools and foundations. She is passionate about ensuring that children reach their full potential through nurturing care and education.
Katuta holds an MS in global corporations and policy from SOAS at the University of London and a BA in development studies with sociology from the University of Zambia. She is currently pursuing an MBA.
