Bright Menyere is the Logistics Manager for the USAID Strengthening Teacher Education and Practice (STEP) Activity in Malawi. Menyere is responsible for supporting the technical team in planning the logistics of all programmatic and administrative activities and developing efficient driver schedules. He also schedules regular vehicle maintenance and insurance to ensure operational efficiency, and monitors vehicle operation in compliance with local driving code and STS rules and regulations for the use of project vehicles.
Menyere has more than 10 years of experience as a chauffeur and 3 years in logistics. Before joining STS, Menyere worked for international NGOs funded by USAID – projects such as United in Building and Advancing Life Expectations at Management Sciences for Health (MSH), ONSE Project and Abt Associates, National Reading Program (NRP-YESA), SSDI Systems and SHOPS Projects.
Menyere holds a diploma in management studies. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in logistics and supply chain management at Exploits University.
